Snakes coming up through sewer pipes and out of a toilet

So I had an art block. A really bad art block, it lasted a good year. It's not that I didn't draw—I drew a lot! I didn't like anything, nothing made sense to me, too many ideas, I felt obligated (but to whom? to what? I still don't know) to choose the best one (what does that even mean?).

Another attempt.
I typed "what to draw" into the search bar, just like that. I came across Phil McAndrew's website and his colossal list "PHIL McANDREW'S BIG LIST OF STUFF TO DRAW." Dear Mr. McAndrew, thank you.
I asked my friend to pick a number from 1 to 600. And here we are—number 517, "snakes coming up through sewer pipes and out of a toilet."

Is there too much going on in this illustration? Probably, but I had a lot of fun. I decided to add elements that would allow me to create at least a few "how did this happen/what's going on here" stories while looking at the illustration. For me: We're looking at an abandoned toilet in some aesthetic pub, where some poor goldfish was once flushed, someone's heart so close to them that they wanted to immortalize it on the toilet seat. Years later, this place became an object of worship for the local fauna, and the snakes made a pilgrimage to their python shaman, celebrating the hatching of their chosen one from a nurturing egg—but wait. Was there a duck in the egg? Oh well. But who was that unfortunate skeleton with a mustache? What's that pumpkin doing in those bushes? Maybe you know?
